Zhang Xiaogang

This catalogue, published in 2013 on the occasion of Zhang Xiaogang’s exhibition at Pace Gallery in New York, presents figurative bronze sculptures and oil on canvas works created between 2012 and 2013, including the paintings My Mother (2012) and My Father (2012) and the busts Young Girl No. 1 (2013) and Young Boy No. 1 (2013). Zhang Xiaogang also includes an essay by Jonathan Fineberg exploring the concept of creative play in relation to the artist’s oeuvre.
