This rare three-volume set on the work of Robert Rauschenberg, including Anagrams (1996), Arcadian Retreats (1997), and Anagrams (A Pun) (1999), provides insight into the protean artist’s related series, begun in the mid-1990s, which employed new techniques to combine dye transfer with novel supports.

Collected in a corrugated slipcase, the books include color and fold-out reproductions of the works exhibited at Pace; a handwritten introduction by Rauschenberg; and essays on the Arcadian Retreats and Anagrams series written by Bernice Rose.
