Raqib Shaw: Space Between Dreams

Raqib Shaw: Space Between Dreams, Shaw’s first presentation in New York since 2019, brought together sixteen meticulously wrought works that merge imagined and real landscapes, combining imagery drawn from the artist’s memories of his native Kashmir; cityscapes evocative of London, New York, and Venice; and scenes from his garden in South London, where he lives and works. With seven foldouts encouraging close looking, and an essay by Pace Gallery Chief Curator Oliver Shultz, this volume allows readers to experience the wonder of Shaw’s gilded, fantastical worlds.
