Maysha Mohamedi: Maysha the Fool

Following her 2024 publication yesterday I was a tiny tube of toothpaste, this second facsimile of Mohamedi's studio notebook highlights the various sources of inspiration—from photographs and recipes to magazine clippings—for her new paintings, in which she expands the reach and range of her palette to explore the possibilities of spiritual transformation and enlightenment. These themes are placed in conversation with a reproduction of the 1922 text "Sincerity" by Mabel Hale.
