Julian Schnabel: New Plate Paintings, published on the occasion of the 2017 exhibition at Pace in New York, collects a series of vibrant paintings inspired by the roses growing in the cemetery near Van Gogh’s grave in Auvers-sur-Oise, France. Alongside artwork and installation imagery, this book also includes a text by Hilton Als.
