Published on the occasion of the exhibition held in 2018 at Pace in New York, Robert Irwin: New “SCULPTURE/CONFIGURATIONS” highlights the artist’s series of pillar-like sculptures made of ten-foot L- and T-shaped pieces of acrylic in green and brown. In addition to a text by Matthew Simms, this book includes ink drawings to accompany the series, which builds on Irwin’s decades-long exploration of site-conditioned artworks.
